The action in the game takes place on a remote Lingshan Islands, off Philippines. While the first instalment was a set in a jungle, Crysis2 is set in New York City; the entire city is seen to be evacuated from Alien Infestation. This game utilises 3GB of memory and 9GB of Hard Disk space. For the multi-player option, an internet connection is required and one time authorisation is required when playing for the first time.
